Choosing the Best Steel Building Erector
We're sorry to say: but just because you've selected a metal building doesn't mean your job is finished.
What about the determination of who will erect this structure? Consider this simple tips:
Do homework on any potential erector. Even if the steel building supplier recommends a specific company for the project, ask as any questions as you can.
Check the erector's references. If the steel building expert can't provide you with any, consider that a red flag. After receiving references, take a look at the metal buildings previously constructed and speak with the owners to gauge their satisfaction.
Remember certification. A lot of the more complex commercial steel building or roofing systems may require that the erector be certified. Talk to the manufacturer to find out if any certifications are necessary for their particular products.
Ask about supplier referrals. General steel building suppliers often have relationships with erectors throughout the country. Because they conduct a lot of business, they may be able to refer you to erectors that have done a solid job for them in the past.
Of course, even if you find an erector through a referral, it would be wise to do your homework and qualify the erector yourself. That is step one, after all.
