Our buying experience with United Steel was extremely pleasant. Project Managers were knowledgeable which assured a smooth transaction and complete customer satisfaction. The quality of the building materials were far superior than we had expected. Materials arrived on time and their were no shortages or damaged pieces. The roll up doors were packaged well and all building pieces were labeled. The two colors of steel selected were exactly as we had envisioned. Our construction story is very interesting and a little hard to believe. We were told that is would take 3 to 4 guys with some experience to put the building up in about 4 week ends. But since we had built a couple of decks and other small projects over the years we figured we can do it. We figured it would take my husband and I a few months of week ends to get it up. We had previously purchased all needed permits and had framed up for the concrete pad and had shoveled the gravel by hand using a wheelbarrow. We had very limited funds. The amazing thing is my husband and I assembled the entire building using a 6 foot ladder, a 12 foot step ladder, 2 comealongs, and 2 sets of borrowed scaffolding. No fork lift, no back hoe, no tractor, no nothing! It must have been a sight seeing a woman (50 years young) and her husband putting up an entire building. We are extremely proud of it.
